Celebrating mission With women, children, and youth SINCE 1949.
Our Purpose
The organized unit of United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive sisterhood; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our Purpose Translated Into Action
UWF Circles provide ways for women to meet in smaller groups to worship, study, make friends and have fun with each other. Our three circles meet regularly and have similar goals and activities, but they are unique in areas of program emphasis and service. UWF members are often encouraged to participate in ministries and programs organized by any of the circles. All of the circles come together several times a year for programs, a garage/yard sale and annual luncheon. Because of the pandemic, some gatherings are via Zoom or in small socially-distanced groups.
