Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
- Philippians 4:6
Saint John’s United Methodist is a house of prayer and we are a praying congregation. We pray individually, in small groups, and as a community of faith. We pray for each other, our church, our community and our world. Please join us in prayer as we open our hands before God and open our hearts to God’s promises. If you have a prayer request, please contact Pat Thomas, (512) 452-5737, ext 228, or by email.
Saint John’s Prayer Groups and individuals pray for those in our email Prayer Requests and for those in our newsletter prayer list. Volunteers send cards to those on our prayer list saying “Saint John’s is praying for you.”
Saint John’s Prayer Blanket Ministry continues to comfort those in the hospital, and those in need, with beautiful prayer blankets and shawls which are made with healing prayers
“Joys and Concerns” cards are in our pew racks. Please share your joys and concerns with us and help us to minister and reach out to you and to the world.
Prayer is the breath of life!
